Academic Coach offers a full refund to customers between the date of purchase and 7 days after the 10 week course commencement date for Academic Writing Course and PhD Writing Course if they are not satisfied with the on-line course they have purchased. There are no refunds available for any courses purchased as an instant digital course as access is granted immediately to all course materials. Terms of Service

Copyright protection, data security and length of access

The purchase and use of on-line courses and digital content is subject to the following conditions.

1.1 The subscriber will implement and maintain reasonable measures to ensure only authorised users (the subscriber) have access to the digital content supplied. This includes reasonable steps to protect your password. The content must not be shared to any third party, either individual or organisation, and the material on all Academic Coach courses is subject to copyright law. The material is sold on the basis that access is granted only on the condition that it is for the sole use of the purchaser in an individual capacity.

1.2 The Academic Writing and PhD Thesis course lengths are 10 weeks but subscribers may continue to access this resource after that cohort has ended for 12 months under the following conditions: Academic coach remains in business; the course is hosted at the domain of academiccoach.info and Academic Coach is hosted on Squarespace. Any changes to these conditions may invalidate the links provided to use the course content.

Third Party Use

Under no circumstances must individuals allow their employers or other organisations to have access to the on-line material. Organisations can obtain licence agreements for use of this material by contacting Academic Coach at coach@academiccoach.info. All video material (and associated data and images) is for the sole use of Academic Coach and may not be downloaded or shared by the purchaser and is subject to commercial copyright laws.

1-1 coaching- money deposited on account

1.1: Any money deposited with Academic Coach will be charged at the current rate in operation. Prices increase every year and do not stay at the rate that money was deposited at.

1.2 Any money deposited by individual clients must be used within the calendar year of deposit or forfeited. Please only deposit a maximum 10 sessions duration at any one time to ensure you can use all your money within the calendar year of deposit.

1.3. Any money deposited by individuals for 1-1 coaching must be used in full within the calendar year and will not be reimbursed by academic coach under any circumstances. You will be regularly kept up to date with any money not spent in your account to assist you but it is your responsibility to keep track of your spending.

1.4 When institutions are invoiced and deposit money with Academic Coach at an agreed rate, this amount will be seen as the chargeable rate and is therefore not subject to price increase for that time period. Unless an invoice is actually paid, no agreement is set. Any invoices not paid before the end of the Calendar year will be charged at the new rate applicable when the money is deposited and the invoice is settled.

1.5: 1-1 coaching is scheduled on a ‘use it or lose it’ basis, meaning that when your coaching slot and frequency has been agreed, you will be expected to turn up for each and every slot scheduled, and will charged for that slot regardless of whether you turn up to claim it. Academic Coach may exercise discretion in exceptional circumstances.

Behaviour policy

We expect all those interacting with the site, blogs, social media pages and live webinars to do so in a manner that respects equality and diversity and any breach of this standard of behaviour may result in removal from the participative forums, live events, and social media groups.
